Activities At the fest
Ask Me
Information Centers are staffed by trained volunteers to help Festival goers in anyway possible. HullabaLOU guests can visit these areas to receive their festival program, get directions to the nearest restroom, ATM or concession stand. Each of these areas can be found on our festival map.
Additional “Ask Me” volunteers will be stationed outside the entrance gates and throughout the HullabaLOU festival grounds and will be in place to answer any question that guests may have. Volunteers will hold a large “Ask Me” sign making them visible to Festival goers.
Lose Something:
Our lost and found areas are provided for guests who have misplaced purchased or personal items. In the instance guests come across lost items, please bring these to the Lost and Found booth located by Gate 10. This location is marked on the festival map.
Festival Programs:
Festival programs are the only piece of paper HullabaLOU guests will need to make their way around the festival grounds. Included in the program is a festival map, along with the music schedule detailing when each band will play on each stage. Information booths, located throughout the facility will be fully stocked with programs.
Bag and Chair Valet:
Guests who have brought folding camping chairs for the infield and paddock performances or those who have purchased items from the Kentucky Heritage Marketplace may check their belongings here. There are four locations throughout the festival, each of these are marked on the festival map. The Bag and Chair Valet is fully staffed by trained volunteers. Guests can leave these items at the valet location and return to the same tent to redeem their checked belongings at the conclusion of their Festival stay.
LG&E Clean Vibes Trading Post:
HullabaLOU welcomes the LG&E Clean Vibes' Trading Post. The Trading Post will incentivize you as a fan by accepting cans and bottles that can be redeemed for immediate rewards. The cans and bottles become a currency of sort, and the more recyclable items you collect, the more valuable items you can "purchase."
Just bring your compostable or recyclable cups, cans, and bottles to one of the three Trading Post locations and "cash them in." Depending on the number of cans and bottles you turn in, you will receive a certain number of point vouchers. Bring your vouchers to the LG&E Clean Vibes' Trading Post in the infield and trade them in for your choice of a variety of green gifts - from earth friendly health and beauty products and sustainable clothing to autographed band merchandise and food vendor vouchers. Cash them in for small stuff or keep collecting points throughout the weekend to “purchase” something big!
Shuttle and Taxi Drop Off:
The drop off location for shuttles and taxis traveling to and from the HullabaLOU Music Festival is located at Gate 17.
Merchandise:
There are four merchandise locations at the HullabaLOU Music Festival. Each merchandise location is marked on the Festival map. Please visit the Festival stores to purchase artist and HullabaLOU memorabilia including t-shirts, hats, posters, bags, blankets, and more.
ADA Access Center:
Our Access Center is located inside the Gate 17 entrance to the HullabaLOU Music Festival and is marked on all festival maps. The Access Center is an area for festival guests with disabilities to receive all the information needed to ensure they receive the full HullabaLOU experience.
ATMs:
ATMs are conveniently located throughout the festival grounds. HullabaLOU guests can find each location on the Festival map. Guests who may have trouble locating these may ask for direction at any of our Information Stations.
WaveNation Chillzone:
The WaveNation Chillzones are large tents with misting fans provided for guests to receive relief from the heat. There are two locations conveniently located in the infield of the Festival. Guests are welcome to sit or simply walk through these misting locations as they travel from stage to stage. Additional cooling locations are available inside the Clubhouse which can be accessed from inside Gate 17.
Kentucky Heritage Market Place:
Our market place will be filled with vendors from the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. The artist will have merchandise for sale as well as provide Festival guests with live demonstrations of their products coming to life. The market place is located in the center of the infield and provides shaded locations for guests as well.
Music Store and Autographs:
Fans wanting to pick up a CD of their favorite band playing at HullabaLOU can visit our Music Store in the infield. Guests can then take their CDs over to the Autograph tent to have it signed by their favorite band. A schedule of artist signings will be posted at the Autograph tent each day.
First Aid:
HullabaLOU Fist Aid locations are fully staffed by trained professionals. The Festival houses three First Aid posts conveniently visible to HullabaLOU guests and marked on the Festival map.
Restrooms:
The Festival is fully equipped with both permanent and temporary restroom accommodations. Each of these areas are located on the festival map.
Food and Beverages:
Countless, reasonably priced food and beverage options are available throughout the HullabaLOU Festival. Please view the festival map or visit the Information Booths to locate each of these locations. Many locations only accept cash so if you are running low on cash, please visit one of the ATM locations.
Kentucky Derby Museum:
The Kentucky Derby Museum, which sits on the front steps of historic Churchill Downs, is a very visible part of our community as one of Louisville’s premiere attractions. Graciously welcoming over 210,000 guests through the doors each year and giving them a first hand look at the event for which Louisville, Kentucky is known worldwide. The Museum aims to provide a lasting impression of tradition, hospitality and pride to our many visitors.
The Kentucky Derby Museum will be open during the dates of the HullabaLOU Music Festival July 23-25 from 10am – 5pm.
